What I do consistently, for every client, is notice where what a business says about itself and what clients actually experience start to diverge. Sometimes it's small. Sometimes it's the whole strategy. Either way, finding it is the first step.
Earlier in my career, I spent seven years in increasingly senior roles at a Washington, D.C.-based international organization. I managed large budgets, cross-functional teams, and the kind of institutional complexity that teaches you to ask better questions before you act.
I've since worked with independent therapists, fitness studios, spas, and retreat leaders. My research includes original reporting on where hospitality wellness programming tends to fall short, including direct interviews with resort spa and wellness leaders.
I work with practitioners building a local reputation, and I'm increasingly drawn to multi-department properties managing groups, events, and longer guest relationships. Different scale, same underlying work: ask the right questions, find what the evidence shows, build a plan from there.
